In continuation to Notification No.19/DRA/DC/Notifications/2019-20/1204 dated March 23, 2020, the Drug Regulatory Authority hereby notifies the general public that the following brands of hand sanitizers meets the minimum requirement of alcohol content (60%v/v) as per WHO Guide for Hand Hygiene:

1. Dr. Clean Hand Sanitizers 400ml and 100ml (Isopropyl Alcohol I.P 70% v/v) manufactured by Indian Drug House, Sonarpur, India;
2. Dettol Instant Hand Sanitizer, manufactured by Reckitt Benckiser, India;
3. Cleene Hand Sanitizer Spray manufactured Telstar manufacturing corporation, Laguna Techno park, Philippines;
4. Casino Sanitizer Spray manufactured by International pharmaceuticals kassambagan, Philippines
5. Satol Hand Sanitizer manufactured by Seema International, India and
6. AP Assured Instant Hand Sanitizer marketed by API, indore, M.P, India

We will be monitoring other brands of hand sanitizers available in the market and update the general public accordingly.
